Grace Landing would like to invite you and members of your leadership and church to our first annual Foster Care Adoption Summit. Grace Landing is expanding this year to become a "child placing agency" and will begin recruiting christian families in Orange and Osceola County to be foster parents.
In order to give christian families the best chance possible to be successful in doing what God has called us to do in taking care of the widows and orphans, Grace Landing will start off its first summit with "How to Launch A Foster Care/Adoption Ministry in Your Church".
We would like to empower churches on how to encourage these families within their church and individuals with everything you need to start a foster care ministry in your church.
Speakers:
Doug Sauder, with 4KIDS of south Florida is going to be our speaker. He has his masters degree and many years of work and personal experience in working with children in crisis. Currently at 4KIDS he provides leadership and direction to the staff.He also works to unite church and community leaders to create a broad base of support to fulfill God's mandate to take care of the widows and orphans. Doug is also the author of The One Factor.

Also at the summit, Abigail Johnston, with One Church/One Child will be speaking and we will have a panel of foster/adoptive parents/judge/ad litem to give insight into foster parenting and how they feel the church could help these children.
